Fron August 1st onwards, "Medienhaus Aachen GmbH" will be known as "Mediahuis Aachen GmbH." The company publishes the daily newspaper "Aachener Zeitung," the free weekly newspaper "Aachener Zeitung am Sonntag" and the city magazine "Klenkes". It also organizes various trade fairs in our region (including the EUREGIO Wirtschaftsschau).
With the name change, the company will declare its affiliation with the European Mediahuis Group. "Like our neighbors in the Netherlands ("De Limburger"/Maastricht), Belgium ("Het Belang van Limburg"/Hasselt), and Luxembourg ("Luxemburger Wort"), we belong to one of the most successful media groups in Europe", explains Managing Director Andreas Müller, regarding the reasons for the rebranding. "We are proud to be united with renowned media outlets in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Ireland. We want to demonstrate this to our readers and business partners through our new company name."
The name change will have no impact on subscribers and business partners. Contact persons will remain the same.
