The 36th fair EUREGIO Wirtschaftsschau attracted around 250 exhibitors to the CHIO grounds in Aachen from March 22nd to 30th. In 14 themed halls and pavilions, predominantly regional retailers, tradespeople, and service providers once again presented a wide range of products and services – from cars and alarm systems to household appliances and e-bikes, all the way to cement sculptures. Police, customs, fire departments, and energy suppliers were also represented.
The partner city was Würselen, which introduced itself to the trade fair visitors as "a city where history lives and the future grows." In a separate hall, 25 Würselen companies, united under the motto "Würselen Invites You," showcased their offerings. Some focused on the topic of weddings – a first at the Euregio Trade Fair. The supporting program also offered numerous attractions: The two charity breakfasts on the Saturdays of the fair, organized by the business network Aixactum, raised a donation of €5,700 for the breakfast4kids association. Jürgen B. Hausmann and the band Saitenhieb were among those providing entertainment on stage.
On other days of the fair, cooking demonstrations, a talent competition, quizzes, magic shows, and athletic performances by the Aachen Vampires kept visitors entertained. Families enjoyed themselves at VR-Bank Spieleland, which offered bouncy castles, giant games, and various children's vehicles. Arts and crafts and face painting were also available. Young visitors could meet popular characters like Elsa, Spiderman, and Peppa Pig, and even earn a "digger driver's license" on the fairgrounds.
Catering was provided by Kerres Catering and the "Hexenhof zu Gast bei Freunden", offering snacks and a beer garden. The EUREGIO Wirtschaftsschau once again confirmed its reputation as the largest consumer fair in the tri-border region – an event for the whole family with regional flair and a diverse program. The 37th EUREGIO Wirtschftsschau will take place from March 7th to 15th, 2026 – with Simmerath as a partner municipality and many exciting new features.
